Call for Board Member/Volunteers

As the 2022/23 hockey season winds down and many of our volunteers and Board Member step down or move on to other roles, the Halifax Hawks Minor Hockey Association is looking for new volunteers to help deliver hockey programming to over 700 young players – yours included.

Like many other sports and recreation organizations, the Halifax Hawks is run almost entirely by volunteers. Whether you have a hockey background, or not, we probably have a role for you.

This is a great opportunity for you to get involved, and help shape the minor hockey experience for players, parents, and coaches alike.

We are looking to fill the following Board and Volunteer positions open for the upcoming 2023/24 season:

• Vice President Recreation
• Secretary
• U15 Recreation Director
• U18 AA Competitive Director

The remaining positions of the board have incoming nominations however all are free to run for those positions with a vote to take place at the annual meeting.  If you are interested in running for any of those, please let me know.
