Halifax Red

$2600 raised!!

2 teams with one goal!

Together Halifax Red and Sackville Orange were unstoppable and raised $2600 for the Canadian Cancer Society!

Before we got started the players and coaches were treated to a pizza party sponsored by Freeman's! We talked about the importance of the game and why were all there raising money for a worthy cause.

We honoured Emma, a Hawks sister in her battle with cancer with a cermonial puck drop at centre ice and a jersey. MP Lena Metledge Diab was there to assist her at centre ice and supported both our teams by giving them a certificate of appreciation.

Thank you to everyone who supported us by online donations, baked goods and candy bag sales, and attending the game - and so many other supportive ways!
